Canberra Crane Maintenance & Inspections
10 Yearly Mechanical Inspection & Certification
Comprehensive 10 yearly mechanical inspections and certifications carried out on overhead cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes and monorail systems in line with applicable Australian Standards and manufacturer recommendations. Inspections include detailed assessment of structural components, drive systems, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, wheels, brakes, wire ropes or chains, and general mechanical wear. Equipment is assessed for fatigue, excessive wear, alignment issues and overall operational condition, with NDT testing and engineering assessment included as part of the certification process. Following inspection, customers are provided with detailed inspection reports and engineering certification documentation outlining the condition of the equipment, identified defects and any recommended repairs or compliance requirements.
Due to the varying size, condition and compliance requirements of lifting equipment, pricing for 10 yearly inspections and certifications is provided on a case-by-case basis following review of the equipment and servicing history.
25 Yearly Structural Assessment & Certification
Comprehensive 25 yearly structural assessments and certifications carried out on overhead cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes and monorail systems in line with applicable Australian Standards and manufacturer recommendations. Assessments involve detailed inspection of the crane structure and supporting components to identify fatigue, cracking, corrosion, distortion, wear and overall structural integrity. Works include NDT testing, engineering assessment and certification as part of the inspection process, along with detailed evaluation of structural and mechanical components where required.
Following inspection, customers are provided with detailed inspection reports and engineering certification documentation outlining the condition of the equipment, identified defects and any repair or compliance recommendations required to maintain safe operation.
